CQK HOTPOT Shines at “2025 China Thailand Cooperation Expo” Celebrating 50 Years of Diplomatic Relations
November 21, 2025The premiere of “Ne Zha 2” made waves across Thailand, with CQK-HOTPOT hosting full-house screenings for three consecutive days, bringing the bold flavors of Sichuan hotpot to the excitement of overseas Chinese audiences. From March 13 to March 16, CQK-HOTPOT organized 16 special screenings of the film, combining the thrill of animation with the spicy aroma of red-hot hotpot.
Record-Breaking Box Office Success
According to reports, “Ne Zha 2” achieved a box office of THB 11.8 million (approximately RMB 2.53 million) in its first week in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and surrounding areas, ranking among the top three opening week films in Thailand in 2025. This remarkable achievement further showcases the international influence of Chinese animated films.
A Spectacular Premiere at Central World
The premiere kicked off on March 13 at Central World in Bangkok, where CQK-HOTPOT’s booth attracted large crowds. Fans eagerly visited to learn about the restaurant’s locations and sample specially prepared spicy snacks, enjoying a double treat of film and cuisine. The atmosphere was electric, with attendees cheering for this highly anticipated movie.
CQK-HOTPOT founder, Mr. Wen Zhi, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and spoke to the media:
“By participating in the premiere of ‘Ne Zha 2’, we hope not only to share our hotpot flavors with more friends but also to leverage the movie’s influence to further promote and celebrate Chinese culture.”
Multi-City Screenings Across Thailand
From March 14 to 16, CQK-HOTPOT collaborated with cinemas in four major Thai tourist cities: Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, to host consecutive special screenings of “Ne Zha 2”. The event attracted large groups of loyal fans and sparked a wave of interest among the Chinese community in Southeast Asia.
Audiences were moved to tears by Ao Bing’s journey and captivated by the hotpot-themed collectible tickets. Chinese flavors are more than just a culinary experience; they are a vivid expression of cultural confidence.
